    SEE ALSO...

ARHGAP28 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARHGAP28 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARHGAP28 Antibody (G-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARHGAP28, also known as rho GTPase activating protein 28 or KIAA1314, is a 729 amino acid protein characterized by a single helical Rho-GAP domain. ARHGAP28 functions as a negative regulator of Rho-type GTPases, facilitating the conversion of active GTP-bound GTPases to their inactive GDP-bound state, which is essential for maintaining cellular signaling balance and preventing excessive cellular proliferation. ARHGAP28 is expressed at moderate levels in the ovary and kidney, with lower expression in skeletal muscle and spleen, and exists in four alternatively spliced isoforms. ARHGAP28 undergoes DNA damage-induced phosphorylation, potentially mediated by ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) or ATM and Rad3-related (ATR) kinases, which may influence regulatory functions in response to cellular stress. ARHGAP28 gene is located on human chromosome 18, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Trisomy 18, Niemann-Pick disease, and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, highlighting ARHGAP28′s importance in both normal physiology and disease contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-365361 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
