ARF1 Antibody (ARFS 3F1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ARF1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-ARF1 antibody (ARFS 3F1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ADP-ribosylation factor 1 (ARF1) protein is crucial for regulating vesicle trafficking and signal transduction within eukaryotic cells, playing a vital role in maintaining cellular organization and communication. Located primarily at the Golgi apparatus, ARF1 is essential for the formation of transport vesicles that shuttle proteins and lipids between cellular compartments, thereby ensuring proper cellular function and homeostasis. ARF1′s ability to interact with coat proteins and facilitate vesicle assembly underscores ARF1′s importance in intracellular transport processes. Additionally, ARF1 is involved in the activation of phospholipase D, which is critical for generating signaling molecules that modulate various cellular responses. The ARF protein family, which includes ARF1, ARF2, and ARF3 as class I members, shares a conserved structure and gene organization, highlighting the evolutionary significance of these proteins in cellular regulation.
