    SEE ALSO...

ANKRD36 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ANKRD36 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ANKRD36 antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ANKRD36, also known as ankyrin repeat domain 36 or ANKRD36A, is a 1,941 amino acid protein characterized by six ankyrin repeats and is part of the ankyrin repeat domain family. ANKRD36 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and structural integrity by serving as a membrane adaptor that links integral membrane proteins to the spectrin-based cytoskeleton network. Proper functioning of ANKRD36 is vital, as mutations in ankyrin genes can lead to severe genetic disorders, including fatal cardiac arrhythmias and hereditary spherocytosis. ANKRD36 exists in four alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2q11.2. This chromosome is significant not only for its size, comprising approximately 8% of the human genome, but also for its potential involvement in genetic conditions, as translocations involving ANKRD36 have been associated with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Understanding the structure and function of ANKRD36 is essential for elucidating its role in health and disease, making ANKRD36 (E-4) monoclonal antibody a valuable tool for researchers studying this important protein.
