Amelogenin Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Amelogenin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Amelogenin antibody (F-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Amelogenin plays a crucial role in the biomineralization and organization of dental enamel, which is essential for the structural integrity and function of teeth. Amelogenin monoclonal antibody (F-11) helps detect proteins involved in regulating hydroxyapatite crystal formation during the secretory stage of enamel development, ensuring proper mineralization and structure. Amelogenin is predominantly expressed by ameloblasts and localizes to the extracellular matrix, where Amelogenin (F-11) antibody can detect interactions with other proteins such as Ameloblastin and Enamelin during enamel matrix formation. AMELX, the gene encoding Amelogenin, is located on the X-chromosome, and mutations can lead to amelogenesis imperfecta hypoplastic type 1, an X-linked disorder impacting tooth enamel formation. Anti-Amelogenin antibody (F-11) enables researchers to explore enamel development processes and genetic factors contributing to enamel-related diseases.
