SEE ALSO...

α4a Tubulin Antibody (MH-17) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects alpha 4a Tubulin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-alpha 4a Tubulin antibody (MH-17) is available as a non-conjugated format. Tubulin plays a crucial role in maintaining cell shape, enabling intracellular transport, and facilitating cell division, making alpha 4a Tubulin essential for proper cellular function and organization. Alpha and beta Tubulin heterodimers assemble into microtubules, which are dynamic structures that can rapidly grow and shrink, allowing cells to adapt to various physiological conditions. Regulation of microtubule dynamics is vital for processes such as mitosis, where microtubules form the mitotic spindle to segregate chromosomes, and for intracellular transport, where motor proteins travel along microtubules to deliver cellular cargo. Understanding alpha 4a Tubulin function and interactions with other proteins is important for elucidating mechanisms underlying cellular processes and potential implications in diseases where cytoskeletal dynamics are disrupted.
