SEE ALSO...

α-Syntrophin Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects α-Syntrophin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). α-Syntrophin is a crucial member of the syntrophin family, which consists of PDZ-domain-containing proteins that play a significant role in the recruitment of signaling proteins, including nitric oxide synthase 1 (NOS1), to the dystrophin-associated protein complex. This interaction is vital for maintaining the integrity of the neuromuscular junction, where α-Syntrophin is primarily located at the muscle sarcolemma. α-Syntrophin′s ability to associate with dystrophin and its homologs is essential for synapse formation and the organization of key components such as utrophin and acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular synapse. Furthermore, α-Syntrophin′s structural features, including multiple protein interaction motifs, enable functioning as a modular adapter, facilitating interactions with other proteins that are critical for muscle function and signaling. Anti-α-Syntrophin antibody (F-1) helps researchers gain insights into the dynamics of these protein interactions and their implications in muscle physiology and related disorders.
