ALDH3A1 Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects aldehyde dehydrogenase 3A1 (ALDH3A1) in mouse samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ALDH3A1 plays a crucial role in the metabolism of aldehydes, particularly in the oxidation of aromatic aldehydes, which is essential for detoxifying harmful compounds and maintaining cellular homeostasis. ALDH3A1 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm, where ALDH3A1 forms a homodimer that enhances enzymatic activity, making ALDH3A1 vital for protecting cells from oxidative stress and damage. Expression of ALDH3A1 is notably upregulated in response to oxidative stress, and ALDH3A1 is often associated with certain tumors that exhibit increased metabolic rates, particularly in the context of chemotherapy resistance. Anti-ALDH3A1 antibody (F-9) enables researchers to gain insights into the functional dynamics of this important enzyme and its implications in cancer biology and metabolic disorders.
