ADRM1 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects ADRM1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ADRM1, also known as adhesion-regulating molecule 1, GP110, ARM-1, or Rpn13, is a 407 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by facilitating protein recruitment and cell adhesion. ADRM1 is primarily located in both the nucleus and cytoplasm, which enables participation in diverse cellular functions, including UCH-L5 recruitment to the 26S proteasome, thereby enhancing proteasome activity. Furthermore, ADRM1 mediates lymphocyte adhesion to endothelial cells, suggesting involvement in lymphocyte homing, which is essential for immune response and tissue repair. Notably, interferon-gamma induces ADRM1 expression in certain cancer cell lines, and ADRM1 is upregulated in various metastatic cells, indicating potential role in carcinogenesis. Additionally, two ADRM1 isoforms arise from alternative splicing events, which may contribute to functional diversity in different biological contexts.
