    SEE ALSO...

ADAT1 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ADAT1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ADAT1 (C-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ADAT1 plays a crucial role in RNA editing, specifically in the modification of tRNA molecules, where ADAT1 catalyzes the conversion of adenosine to inosine in tRNAAla transcripts. This modification is essential for proper tRNA functioning, influencing protein translation accuracy and gene expression fidelity. ADAT1′s ability to facilitate these modifications underscores ADAT1′s importance in cellular processes, particularly in stress responses and gene expression regulation. Additionally, ADAT1 belongs to a larger family of double-stranded RNA adenosine deaminases, including ADAR1 and ADAR2, that participate in RNA editing, highlighting the interconnectedness of these proteins in maintaining RNA integrity and function. ADAT1′s presence and interactions with other RNA-binding proteins are vital for dynamic gene expression regulation, making ADAT1 a significant target for research in molecular biology and genetics.
