ADAM3 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ADAM3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ADAM3 (F-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ADAM3, also known as cyritestin, is primarily located on the surface of sperm cells, where ADAM3 plays a crucial role in the fertilization process. ADAM3 presence on the sperm surface is essential for binding to the zona pellucida, the outer layer of the oocyte, facilitating successful fertilization. The interaction between ADAM3 and the zona pellucida is vital, as sperm lacking functional ADAM3 are unable to bind effectively, leading to infertility. Additionally, during sperm development, ADAM3 forms a complex with ADAM2, and any disruption of this complex can significantly impair the structural integrity and functional capabilities of ADAM3 .
