Abin-2 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Abin-2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Abin-2 (H-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Abin-2, also known as A20-binding inhibitor of NF kappaB activation 2, plays a crucial role in regulating the NF kappaB signaling pathway, which is essential for controlling immune responses, inflammation, and apoptosis. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, Abin-2 interacts with p105 protein and is involved in recruiting chromatin-remodeling complexes to inhibit NF kappaB target gene expression. This interaction maintains cellular homeostasis and prevents excessive inflammatory responses. Abin-2 associates with TPL-2, and Abin-2 depletion via siRNA reduces TPL-2 levels without affecting p105, highlighting a significant role in the Toll-like receptor 4 signaling pathway. Additionally, Abin-2 inhibits endothelial cell apoptosis, and removing Abin-2′s carboxy-terminus disrupts this protective function, underscoring the importance of structural integrity in cellular survival mechanisms.
