    SEE ALSO...

A-Myb Antibody (D-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects A-Myb protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). A-Myb (D-12) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. A-Myb protein, a member of the Myb family of transcription factors, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression related to cellular differentiation and growth. A-Myb protein is characterized by a helix-turn-helix (HTH) DNA-binding domain, which allows binding to specific promoter sequences, thereby influencing target gene transcription. A-Myb protein regulation is particularly important in various biological processes, including hematopoiesis and reproductive tissue development. A-Myb protein is expressed at specific times in reproductive tissues and certain neural cells, as well as in a subset of normal and neoplastic B lymphocytes. A-Myb protein expression is implicated in t(14:18) lymphoma cells, where A-Myb protein inhibits cell cycle arrest and apoptotic signaling, highlighting potential roles in cancer biology. A-Myb protein activates the bcl-2 promoter, leading to increased Bcl-2 expression, which serves as an anti-apoptotic factor, promoting cell survival in conditions that typically induce apoptosis.
