RhebL1 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects RhebL1 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RhebL1, also known as ras homolog enriched in brain-like protein 1 or GTPase RhebL1, is a 183 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by regulating the activity of Rictor, a key component of the mTOR signaling pathway. This regulation is vital for various cellular processes, including growth, proliferation, and survival, making RhebL1 an important player in cancer biology, as RhebL1 expression is often upregulated in tumor cell lines. RhebL1 is localized to both the cell membrane and the cytoplasm, which is significant for function in signal transduction. RhebL1 exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 12q13.12, a region associated with several genetic disorders. RhebL1′s ability to activate NFκB-mediated gene transcription further underscores importance in modulating immune responses and inflammation. With diverse roles in cellular signaling and disease, RhebL1 is a valuable target for research and therapeutic applications, making anti-RhebL1 antibody (A-2) an essential tool for scientists studying these critical biological processes.
