REPS2 Antibody (K-18) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects REPS2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). REPS2 Antibody (K-18) is available as the non-conjugated anti-REPS2 antibody (K-18). REPS2 protein, primarily located in the cytoplasm, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in growth factor signaling. REPS2 is predominantly expressed in cerebellum, lung, testis, cerebrum, and kidney, highlighting its importance in various physiological processes. REPS2 interacts with several key proteins, including DDEF1 and paxillin, forming complexes essential for cellular functions. REPS2 also associates with activated RAL, involved in the Rho subfamily signaling pathway, particularly with Cdc42, and interacts with RAL BP-1, further influencing growth factor signaling. NFκB subunit p65 interaction with REPS2 EH domain suggests a regulatory role in inflammation and cell survival, as NFκB activity upregulation correlates with REPS2 activity downregulation. Decreased REPS2 expression during cancer progression may lead to dysregulation of growth factor signaling, contributing to uncontrolled cell proliferation and resistance to apoptosis, making REPS2 a significant factor in cancer biology.
