HDAC4 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Histone Deacetylase 4 (HDAC4) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HDAC4 antibody (B-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HDAC4 plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression by removing acetyl groups from histones, leading to chromatin condensation and transcriptional repression. This deacetylation process is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of HDAC4 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making HDAC4 an important target for therapeutic intervention.
