    SEE ALSO...

DNA pol α Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects DNA polymerase alpha (DNA pol α) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DNA pol α plays a crucial role in DNA replication, particularly in the synthesis of the RNA-DNA primer necessary for initiating DNA strand elongation. DNA pol α is essential for maintaining genomic stability, ensuring accurate DNA replication and repair processes. DNA pol α belongs to a larger family of DNA polymerases, including DNA pol δ and DNA pol ε, which work together to manage DNA synthesis and repair. DNA pol α function remains vital, as deficiencies or malfunctions can lead to genomic instability and contribute to various diseases, including cancer. Anti-DNA pol α antibody (F-6) enables researchers to study expression and activity in different cellular contexts, providing insights into DNA replication mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-365040 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
