SEE ALSO...

Troponin I-SS Antibody (C-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Troponin I-SS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Troponin I-SS antibody (C-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Troponin I-SS protein plays a critical role in muscle contraction by regulating the interaction between actin and myosin, which are essential for muscle fiber contraction and relaxation. This regulation is particularly important in cardiac and skeletal muscle, where precise control of contraction is vital for proper heart function and movement. Troponin I-SS is part of the troponin complex, which also includes Troponin C and Troponin T, and calcium ion binding capability is crucial for initiating muscle contraction. Different isoforms of Troponin I in various muscle types allow for specialized functions, making Troponin I-SS a key player in muscle physiology. Anti-Troponin I-SS antibody (C-4) enables researchers to gain insights into muscle function and underlying mechanisms of muscle-related diseases, enhancing understanding of both normal physiology and pathological conditions.
