SEE ALSO...

Synaptotagmin V Antibody (46) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Synaptotagmin V in mouse and rat samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Synaptotagmin V is a dense-core vesicle-specific protein that plays a crucial role in regulating calcium-dependent secretion, particularly in neuroendocrine signaling. Anti-Synaptotagmin V antibody (46) facilitates research on the fusion of secretory vesicles with the plasma membrane in response to calcium influx. Synaptotagmin V is essential for the release of neurotransmitters and hormones, maintaining synaptic transmission and overall neuronal communication, making this protein a key player in both normal physiological processes and potential pathophysiological conditions. Alterations in Synaptotagmin V expression or function have been implicated in various neurological disorders, highlighting its importance in both health and disease. Anti-Synaptotagmin V antibody (46) provides a reliable tool for researchers investigating the mechanisms of synaptic transmission and the role of calcium signaling in cellular communication.

I am using Synaptotagmin V (46): sc-136090 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
