SEE ALSO...

PFKP Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PFKP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-PFKP antibody (F-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PFKP, also known as phosphofructokinase platelet, is a critical component of the glycolytic pathway, functioning as an allosteric enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of fructose-6-phosphate to fructose-1,6-bisphosphate, a key regulatory step in glucose metabolism. PFKP is primarily located in platelets, where PFKP plays a vital role in energy production and metabolic regulation, particularly during periods of increased energy demand. Proper functioning of PFKP is essential for maintaining cellular energy homeostasis, and any defects in PFKP gene can lead to metabolic disorders, including an increased risk of obesity. Using PFKP (F-7) monoclonal antibody in your research can provide valuable insights into PFKP′s role in various physiological and pathological processes.
