Fibronectin Antibody (568) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Fibronectin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Fibronectin antibody (568) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Fibronectin is a crucial extracellular matrix glycoprotein that plays a significant role in cell adhesion, motility, and wound healing, making Fibronectin essential for tissue repair and regeneration. This high molecular weight heterodimeric protein is predominantly located in the extracellular matrix, where Fibronectin facilitates the interaction between cells and their environment, thereby influencing cellular behavior and tissue architecture. Alternative splicing and glycosylation of Fibronectin lead to the generation of various isoforms, some of which are associated with specific tissues or pathological conditions, such as malignancies.
