ESE-1 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ESE-1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ESE-1 (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ESE-1, a member of the Ets family of transcription factors, plays a crucial role in regulating epithelial cell differentiation and mediating vascular inflammation. ESE-1 is predominantly located in the vascular endothelium and smooth muscle cells, where ESE-1 expression is significantly induced by inflammatory cytokines and lipopolysaccharides. ESE-1′s interaction with NF-KappaB is particularly important, as this interaction leads to the induction of nitric oxide synthase, a key enzyme in vascular function and inflammation. Additionally, ESE-1 is upregulated during corneal epithelium differentiation and collaborates with Sp1 and AP-1 proteins to promote squamous differentiation marker expression in bronchial epithelial cells, highlighting ESE-1′s essential role in maintaining epithelial integrity and response to inflammatory stimuli.
