Datasheets
  • CD3-ε Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ, cited in 2 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 1-207 representing full length CD3-ε of human origin
  • recommended for detection of CD3-ε of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
  • See CD3-ε (UCH-T1): sc-1179 for CD3-ε antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, 594, 647, 680 and 790.
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for CD3-ε Antibody (A-1) for WB and IHC(P) applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with CD3-ε Antibody (A-1) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

CD3-ε Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CD3-ε in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD3-ε (A-1) antibody is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. CD3-ε monoclonal antibody (A-1) recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in the immune response by forming part of the T cell receptor (TCR) complex, essential for T cell activation. Located on the surface of T cells, CD3-ε (A-1) antibody targets a protein involved in the transduction of signals that lead to T cell proliferation and differentiation upon recognition of foreign antigens. CD3-ε initiates a cascade of intracellular signaling events that ultimately result in T cell activation, vital for adaptive immunity. The CD3 complex, which includes CD3-ε, consists of multiple invariant polypeptide chains that work together to ensure effective immune responses. Understanding CD3-ε function and signaling pathways is critical for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating immune responses in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer.

Can CD3-ε (A-1): sc-137095 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. Yes, CD3-ε (A-1): sc-137095 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
