TAAR1 Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TAAR1 protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TAAR1 (C-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TAAR1, a member of the trace-amine-associated receptor family, plays a crucial role in the central nervous system by mediating the effects of trace amines, which are endogenous molecules structurally related to classical biogenic amines. These trace amines are linked to various psychiatric conditions, and TAAR1 is particularly significant due to involvement in the modulation of neurotransmitter systems. TAAR1 is primarily located in the brain, where TAAR1 influences the detection of social cues and the regulation of mood and behavior, making TAAR1 a potential therapeutic target for neuropsychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, depression, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
