Stat1 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a light chain antibody that detects Stat1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Stat1 plays a crucial role in mediating cellular responses to interferons, which are vital for the immune response and antiviral defense. Upon activation by interferons, Stat1 undergoes phosphorylation, leading to dimerization and translocation to the nucleus, where Stat1 regulates the expression of genes involved in immune responses and cell growth. The proper functioning of Stat1 is essential for the activation of various immune pathways, and dysregulation of Stat1 signaling has been implicated in several diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers. anti-Stat1 antibody (B-9) provides reliable detection and quantification of Stat1, facilitating research into cellular signaling and disease mechanisms.
