    SEE ALSO...

LRRC18 Antibody (D-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRRC18 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRRC18 (D-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LRRC18, also known as leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 18, is a 261 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of seven leucine-rich repeats (LRRs), which are essential for mediating protein-protein interactions. These LRRs form a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold, providing a versatile structural framework that is crucial for LRRC18′s role in cellular processes. LRRC18 is primarily localized in the cytoplasm and plays a significant role in spermatogenesis and sperm maturation, highlighting LRRC18′s importance in reproductive biology. Additionally, LRRC18 is expressed in two isoforms due to alternative splicing and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 10. LRRC18′s ability to interact with other proteins involved in these processes underscores LRRC18′s potential significance in understanding fertility and related disorders.
