Integrin αX Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin αX in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Integrin αX is a type 1 transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune response by forming a leukocyte-specific integrin when combined with the β2 chain, known as the inactivated-C3b receptor 4 (CR4). Anti-Integrin αX antibody (G-3) is essential for studying neutrophil and monocyte adherence to activated endothelial cells, as well as the phagocytosis of complement-coated particles vital for clearing pathogens and debris from the body. The expression of Integrin αX is particularly significant in hairy cell leukemia, where abnormal expression links to the activation of proto-oncogenes such as Ras and JunD. Additionally, Integrin αX transcription is influenced by various proteins and DNA elements, including Sp1, AP-1 family members, C/EBP, Oct-2, and PU.1, highlighting the complexity of regulation. Integrin αX is predominantly found on monocyte-derived dendritic cells, macrophages, and natural killer cells, and upon activation, dendritic cells located in tissues such as the skin, lungs, and gastrointestinal tract can migrate to lymphoid tissues, where they interact with T and B cells to initiate and modulate the immune response.
