ACTR-IIA Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ACTR-IIA protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ACTR-IIA antibody (D-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ACTR-IIA protein, also known as ACVR2A, plays a crucial role in the transforming growth factor β signaling pathway, which regulates various cellular processes such as gene expression, cell differentiation, and morphogenesis. Located primarily in the cell membrane, ACTR-IIA interacts with type I receptors to form a heteromeric complex that transmits signals from ligands like activin. Such interaction is particularly important in the brain, where both receptor types are highly expressed, influencing neural development and function. ACTR-IIA′s ability to mediate distinct biological effects in a dose-dependent manner underscores its significance in developmental biology and potential implications in various diseases, making ACTR-IIA (D-9) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying these pathways.
