TRPC1 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRPC1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRPC1 (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The transient receptor potential cation (TRPC) channels, to which TRPC1 belongs, are integral to the regulation of calcium homeostasis in cells, playing a crucial role in store-operated calcium entry (SOCE). This process is vital for various physiological functions, including muscle contraction, neurotransmitter release, and cellular signaling. TRPC1, a 793 amino acid protein, is predominantly expressed in the fetal and adult brain, as well as in the adult heart, testis, and ovary, where TRPC1 contributes to the formation of capacitative calcium entry complexes. The interaction between inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors and TRPC1 is essential for the activation of store-mediated calcium entry, highlighting TRPC1′s importance in cellular responses to calcium depletion. Anti-TRPC1 antibody (E-6) enables researchers to gain insights into the mechanisms of calcium signaling and its implications in various biological processes and diseases.
