    SEE ALSO...

Rad GTPase Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rad GTPase of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rad GTPase (B-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rad GTPase plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration, which are essential processes in maintaining vascular health and preventing diseases such as atherosclerosis. Unlike other members of the Ras family, Rad GTPase is unique in lacking typical prenylation motifs at its C terminus, which affects localization and function within cells. Rad GTPase is primarily expressed in skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, and lung tissues, and overexpression in skeletal muscle has been linked to type II diabetes, highlighting potential involvement in metabolic disorders. Understanding Rad GTPase function and regulation is vital for developing therapeutic strategies targeting vascular diseases and metabolic conditions.
