    SEE ALSO...

pan 14-3-3 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects 14-3-3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-14-3-3 antibody (F-1) targets the 14-3-3 protein family, which plays a crucial role in regulating numerous cellular processes, particularly in cancer biology, such as apoptosis, mitogenic signaling, and cell-cycle checkpoints. 14-3-3 proteins form dimers that create two binding sites for ligand proteins, facilitating interactions between proteins that might not otherwise associate. This interaction allows for the regulation of various signaling pathways, ensuring proper cellular function and response to external stimuli. 14-3-3 proteins are predominantly located in the cytoplasm, where these proteins can sequester targets, modulate activity, and influence stability through mechanisms such as preventing degradation and facilitating post-translational modifications. 14-3-3 proteins bind to phosphorylated serine/threonine residues, underscoring their importance in cellular signaling, as these modifications are often critical for the activation or inhibition of various pathways. Loss of 14-3-3 expression can lead to dysregulation of these processes, contributing to a range of pathological conditions, including cancer.
