Anticorps Selectin supplémentaires dont E-Selectin, L-Selectin et P-Selectin

L'anticorps P-Selectin (CTB201) est un anticorps monoclonal de souris IgG1 à chaîne légère kappa qui détecte la protéine P-Selectin chez la souris, le rat et l'homme par western blotting (WB), immunoprécipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochimie sur coupes extraites de paraffine (IHCP) et cytométrie de flux (FCM). L'anticorps de la P-sélectine (CTB201) est disponible à la fois sous forme non conjuguée et sous diverses formes conjuguées, y compris l'agarose, la phycoérythrine (PE), l'isothiocyanate de fluorescéine (FITC) et de multiples conjugués Alexa Fluor®, ce qui permet de répondre à différents besoins expérimentaux. La P-sélectine, également connue sous le nom de GMP-140 ou CD62P, joue un rôle crucial dans la réponse inflammatoire en médiant l'adhésion des leucocytes aux cellules endothéliales activées et aux plaquettes, ce qui est essentiel pour le recrutement des cellules immunitaires sur les sites de blessure ou d'infection. La P-sélectine est principalement localisée à la surface des plaquettes et des cellules endothéliales activées, où la P-sélectine facilite le roulement et l'adhésion des leucocytes, une étape critique de la réponse immunitaire. Can you maybe provide any information regarding the isoelectric point of this antibody or guide me in the right direction, please?

Thank you for your question. We do not characterize the isoelectric point for any of our antibodies. The isoelectric point (pI) of IgG is found in the range of 6.4 to 9.0 [1]. For the dye conjugated antibodies (eg. P-selectin-FITC), will further conjugation still be available on that antibody? ie. does the antibody still have primary NH2 groups for other conjugation reactions?

Thank you for your question. Most reactive/readily available primary amines have most likely have been conjugated. We can not say definitely, but there may be some available. However, we would not recommend attempting additional conjugation of the antibody since the antibody conjugates are provided with a stabilizing protein (gelatin) which would interfere with the conjugation.

I purchased 4 antibodies against human PECAM, VE-Cadherin, Ang-2 and P-selectin for IF of endothelial cells, all first three antibodies worked well, but the P-selectin ( sc-8419) did not worked. I used same secondary antibodies for all of them.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with P-Selectin Antibody (CTB201): sc-8419?

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems.
