ING4 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ING4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ING4 is a member of the inhibitor of growth protein (ING) family, which plays a crucial role in tumor suppression by modulating transcriptional outputs of various signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation. ING4 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where ING4′s presence is vital for maintaining proper cellular functions and preventing uncontrolled cell growth. Through interactions with key proteins such as RELA, ING4 can inhibit tumor progression and angiogenesis in brain tumors through the transcriptional repression of RELA/NFKB3 target genes. Additionally, ING4 interacts with HIF prolyl hydroxylase 2 (EGLN1), which is essential for regulating the activity of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF), thereby influencing cellular responses to low oxygen levels.
