RDH11 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RDH11 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-RDH11 antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RDH11 is a crucial member of the short-chain retinol dehydrogenase/reductase family, functioning primarily as an oxidoreductive catalyst for retinoids. RDH11 is predominantly expressed in tissues such as the liver and prostate, where RDH11 plays a vital role in the metabolism of retinoids by reducing trans- and cis-retinaldehydes and oxidizing trans-retinols. RDH11 is essential in the retinal pigment epithelium, where RDH11 catalyzes the final step in the retinoid cycle of pigment regeneration, converting 11-cis-retinol to 11-cis retinal.
