PRK2 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PRK2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PRK2 (A-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PRK2, also known as protein kinase C-related kinase 2, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating actin dynamics and cytoskeletal organization. PRK2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is involved in modulating various cellular processes, including cell migration, proliferation, and apoptosis. Proper localization of PRK2 is essential for function, as PRK2 interacts with Rho GTPases to influence actin filament organization and stability, which are vital for maintaining cell shape and facilitating movement. Additionally, PRK2 undergoes post-translational modifications, such as phosphorylation, which can alter activity and interactions with other proteins, further emphasizing importance in cellular signaling networks.
