    SEE ALSO...

p53CSV Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects p53CSV in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p53CSV, also known as WF-1, HSPC132, or TRIAP1 (TP53 regulated inhibitor of apoptosis 1), is a 76 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular response to stress by localizing to the cytoplasm and perinuclear region of cells. p53CSV is essential for mediating cell survival, as p53CSV inhibits the activation of caspase-9, thereby preventing the induction of apoptosis. Notably, p53CSV is significantly induced under conditions of low genotoxic stress, which is vital for maintaining cell viability during mild stress, while p53CSV expression does not increase in response to severe DNA damage. The interaction between p53CSV and HSP 70 is particularly important, as this interaction may modulate the apoptotic pathway and inhibit the activity of Apaf-1 (apoptosis protease activating factor-1), further underscoring p53CSV′s role in regulating apoptosis. Regulated by the tumor suppressor protein p53, p53CSV is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 12, which is home to over 1,100 genes and constitutes approximately 4.5% of the human genome, highlighting p53CSV′s significance in cellular processes and potential implications in cancer biology. anti-p53CSV antibody (A-11) is an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the mechanisms of apoptosis and cell survival in various biological contexts.
