Integrin αM Antibody (2LPM19c) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody specifically designed to target Integrin αM, also known as CD11b, ITGAM, Mac-1, or complement component receptor-3 α (CR3α). Integrin αM monoclonal antibody (2LPM19c) is raised against the purified C3bi receptor and demonstrates strong reactivity with Integrin αM from human, mouse, and rat origins, making anti-Integrin αM antibody (2LPM19c) ideal for a variety of applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Integrin αM is a crucial cell adhesion molecule located on the plasma membrane of leukocytes, where Integrin αM mediates the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to activated endothelial cells, thereby facilitating immune cell migration and effective immune responses. Additionally, Integrin αM forms a heterodimer with Integrin β2, creating the Mac-1 (CR3) complex, which is essential for the phagocytosis of complement-coated pathogens and cellular debris, playing a vital role in maintaining immune surveillance and homeostasis. The strategic cell surface localization of Integrin αM allows interaction with various intracellular adhesion molecules (ICAMs) and soluble ligands, highlighting Integrin αM′s importance in immune regulation and inflammatory processes. Integrin αM (2LPM19c) antibody is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants, providing researchers with versatile options to meet experimental needs. By effectively targeting Integrin αM, Integrin αM monoclonal antibody (2LPM19c) facilitates comprehensive studies on immune cell behavior, the mechanisms underlying immune-mediated diseases, and the development of therapeutic interventions, making anti-Integrin αM antibody (2LPM19c) an indispensable tool for advanced immunological research.

What negative control should be used when using the conjugated version of Integrin αM (2LPM19c): sc-20050 monoclonal antibody in flow cytometry?

Asked by: jenni
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend using the isotype specific normal mouse IgG conjugated to the same fluorophore. For example, if you are using sc-20050 PE, then you would want to use normal mouse IgG1 PE, sc-2866.

How can Integrin αM (2LPM19c): sc-20050 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: jenni
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. Integrin αM (2LPM19c): sc-20050 monoclonal antibody is currently available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-20050 PE), fluorescein (sc-20050 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-20050 AF488) or Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-20050 AF647)
