    SEE ALSO...

HSP 75 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HSP 75 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HSP 75 (F-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heat shock protein 75, also known as tumor necrosis factor type 1 receptor-associated protein (TRAP-1), is a crucial mitochondrial chaperone composed of 704 amino acids and belongs to the heat shock protein 90 family. HSP 75 assists in proper folding and assembly of proteins within mitochondria, which is vital for maintaining mitochondrial function and cellular homeostasis. HSP 75 plays a significant role in protecting cells from stress-induced damage, particularly under conditions of oxidative stress, by preventing aggregation of misfolded proteins and facilitating their refolding or degradation. This protective mechanism is essential for cell survival and function, especially in tissues with high metabolic demands such as skeletal muscle, liver, heart, brain, pancreas, lung, and placenta, where HSP 75 is abundantly expressed.
