HSF2BP Antibody (5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HSF2BP protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HSF2BP antibody (5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HSF2BP, or heat shock factor 2-binding protein, consists of 334 amino acids and is encoded by the human gene HSF2BP. Notably, HSF2BP features an N-terminal hydrophilic region that adopts an α-helical structure, containing two leucine zipper motifs, while the C-terminal region is predominantly hydrophobic and forms β sheets. This structural arrangement facilitates interaction between HSF2BP and heat shock factor 2 (HSF2), a protein playing a significant role in cellular differentiation and development rather than responding to environmental stressors like heat. HSF2BP is specifically expressed in the testis, where HSF2BP associates with HSF2, indicating a potential role in modulating HSF2 activation during spermatogenesis. This interaction occurs through the trimerization domain of HSF2 and the N-terminal hydrophilic region of HSF2BP, underscoring HSF2BP′s importance in regulating heat shock response pathways in reproductive tissues.
