SEE ALSO...

Cyclin E Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects cyclin E protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-cyclin E antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cyclin E plays a pivotal role in regulating cell cycle, particularly during transition from G1 phase to S phase, where cyclin E is essential for cells progressing into DNA synthesis. Cyclin E is primarily located in nucleus, where cyclin E forms a complex with transcription factor E2F, crucial for expressing genes necessary for S phase entry. Cyclin E/E2F complex is temporally regulated, with levels peaking at G1/S boundary, ensuring cells only proceed to DNA replication when adequately prepared. Proper functioning of cyclin E is vital for normal cell division, and dysregulation of cyclin E has been implicated in various cancers, highlighting cyclin E′s importance as a potential therapeutic target.

What Li-COR/Odyssey compatible secondary is recommended for use with this cyclin E mouse primary?

Asked by: AbPolly
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
