TGFβ RI Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TGFβ RI of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TGFβ RI antibody (D-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TGFβ RI, a 503 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein, plays a crucial role in the transforming growth factor-beta (TGFβ) signaling pathway, which is essential for regulating cell growth, differentiation, and immune responses. TGFβ RI is primarily located on the cell surface, where TGFβ RI interacts with TGFβ ligands to form a receptor complex with TGFβ receptor type II (TGFβ RII). TGFβ RI′s location enables initiation of intracellular signaling cascades upon ligand binding, which can lead to various cellular responses, including growth inhibition and apoptosis. Mutations in the gene encoding TGFβ RI have been linked to serious conditions such as aortic aneurysm familial thoracic type 5 and Loeys-Dietz syndrome, highlighting TGFβ RI′s significance in maintaining vascular integrity and normal developmental processes.
