T54 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects T54 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). T54 (A-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. T54 protein, also known as GPKOW (G patch domain and KOW motifs), GPATC5, or GPATCH5, is a potential RNA-binding protein characterized by a central G patch domain and two C-terminal KOW domains, comprising 476 amino acids and belonging to the MOS2 family. T54 is a mammalian homolog of the Arabidopsis thaliana MOS2 nuclear protein, which is essential for innate immunity. The presence of G patch and KOW domains in T54 suggests involvement in RNA processing and regulation, which is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals. T54 localization in the nucleus indicates a potential role in gene expression regulation, making T54 a significant player in the immune response and cellular function.
