    SEE ALSO...

S-probe Antibody (SBSTABb) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects S-probe in non-species restricted (NSR) samples through flow cytometry (FCM). S-probe monoclonal antibody (SBSTABb) recognizes a unique enzymatically cleaved derivative of bovine RNase A, consisting of the S-peptide and the S-protein, which together form an active enzyme crucial for various biochemical assays. The S-peptide (residues 1-20) is essential for reconstituting the enzymatic activity of the otherwise inactive S-protein (residues 21-124), allowing researchers to quantify the enzymatic activity on a poly(C) substrate. This quantification is vital for understanding RNA metabolism and the role of RNase in cellular processes, as anti-S-probe antibody (SBSTABb) provides insights into gene expression regulation and potential therapeutic targets.
