HDAC10 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody raised against amino acids 62-116 mapping near the N-terminus of HDAC10 of mouse origin, effectively detecting HDAC10 (E-2) antibody of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Histone deacetylase 10 (HDAC10) is a member of the class IIb histone deacetylases, playing a pivotal role in the modification of chromatin structure, thereby regulating transcriptional activation and repression as well as cellular differentiation. HDAC10, also called HD10, contains an N-terminal Hda1p-related catalytic domain and a unique C-terminal leucine-rich domain, allowing HDAC10 to shuttle between the cytoplasm and nucleus in response to cellular signals. HDAC10 interacts with various proteins, including HDAC1 and HDAC2, forming complexes that modulate gene expression, and has been implicated in DNA repair processes and autophagy regulation by interacting with proteins such as ATG7, thereby influencing autophagic flux and cellular homeostasis. Additionally, HDAC10 exhibits polyamine deacetylase activity, impacting cellular polyamine levels and influencing cell growth and survival, which highlights anti-HDAC10 antibody (E-2) as a therapeutic target in diseases involving epigenetic dysregulation and cancer.
