CD20 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects CD20 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD20 (D-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD20, also known as MS4A1, is a crucial leukocyte surface antigen characterized by four transmembrane domains and cytoplasmic N- and C-termini. CD20 features multiple phosphorylation sites in its cytoplasmic domain, which can generate different isoforms, highlighting CD20′s complexity and regulatory potential. CD20 is predominantly expressed on B cells, but has also been identified on both normal and malignant T cells, indicating broader relevance in immune responses. CD20 facilitates the transition from G0 to G1 phase of the cell cycle, a process stimulated by insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). CD20 activation is mediated through the IGF-1 receptor and involves alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins, leading to increased DNA synthesis, which engages basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper transcription factors.
