Axotrophin Antibody (B-2) ist ein monoklonaler Maus IgG2b κ Antikörper, das das Axotrophin-Protein von Maus-, Ratte- und menschlicher Herkunft mittels WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) und ELISA detektiert. Axotrophin Antibody (B-2) ist sowohl als nicht-konjugierte Form des Anti-Axotrophin-Antikörpers als auch als mehrere konjugierte Formen des Anti-Axotrophin-Antikörpers, einschließlich Agarose, HRP, PE, FITC und mehreren Alexa Fluor®-Konjugaten, erhältlich. Axotrophin ist ein Stammzellengen, das ein Protein codiert, das an der Regulation von T-Lymphozyten (insbesondere an der Regulation der Proliferation) und der Freisetzung von Leukämie-inhibitorischem Faktor (LIF) beteiligt ist. LIF ist ein neuropoietischer Zytokin, das für die Regulation von Stammzellen und die Stimulation von Thymozyten wichtig ist. Sowohl Axotrophin als auch LIF sind mit Transplantationsintoleranz verbunden. Axotrophin ist auch an der Differenzierung des Corpus callosum beteiligt und kann eine Rolle bei der GDNF-abhängigen Überlebensfähigkeit von sensorischen Neuronen in der Substantia gelatinosa des erwachsenen Rückenmarks spielen. Axotrophin wird hauptsächlich im Hippocampus, Cortex, Purkinje- und Granulazellen des Kleinhirns exprimiert.
