Astrotactin Antikörper (H-9) ist ein monoklonaler Maus IgG1 κ Antikörper (auch als Astrotactin Antikörper bezeichnet), der das Astrotactin Protein von Maus-, Ratte- und menschlicher Herkunft mittels WB, IP, IF und ELISA detektiert. Der Astrotactin Antikörper (H-9) ist sowohl in nicht-konjugierter Form als auch in mehreren konjugierten Formen, einschließlich Agarose, HRP, PE, FITC und mehreren Alexa Fluor®-Konjugaten, erhältlich. Die neuronalen Migration des zentralen Nervensystems ist eine spezialisierte Form der Zellmobilisierung, die in der laminaren Struktur der kortikalen Regionen des Gehirns stattfindet. Astrotactin ist ein neuronaler Zelloberflächenprotein, das auf postmitotischen neuronalen Vorläufern im Kleinhirn, Hippocampus, Großhirn und Riechkolben exprimiert wird. Es vermittelt Neuron-Astroglial-Interaktionen und ist auch an der Synapsenentwicklung sowie vielen anderen neuronalen Aktivitäten beteiligt. Astrotactin besitzt drei Epidermalwachstumsfaktor-Repeat-Domänen und zwei Fibronectin-Typ-III-Repeat-Domänen. Das menschliche Astrotactin-Gen liegt auf 1q25 und zeigt eine ausgedehnte Homologie zum Maus-Astrotactin-Gen. Mutationen im Astrotactin-Gen sind mit neuronalen Migrationdefekten in beiden Spezies verbunden.
