SEE ALSO...

APPL2 Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects APPL2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). APPL2, also known as adaptor protein containing pH domain, PTB domain, and leucine zipper motif 2, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by linking epidermal growth factor (EGF) signaling to chromatin remodeling within the nucleus. APPL2 is essential for cell growth and proliferation, as APPL2 interacts with the NuRD/MeCP1 complex in the nucleus, facilitating the regulation of gene expression. Additionally, APPL2 associates with the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), highlighting APPL2′s importance in reproductive signaling pathways. Highly expressed in vital organs such as the heart, brain, skeletal muscle, and kidney, APPL2 shares 54% homology with APPL1, underscoring APPL2′s evolutionary significance and functional redundancy. APPL2′s ability to translocate from the plasma membrane to the nucleus, where APPL2 interacts with key regulatory proteins, emphasizes APPL2′s pivotal role in cellular communication and response to external stimuli, making anti-APPL2 antibody (E-1) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
