    SEE ALSO...

AP1AR Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects AP1AR protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AP1AR monoclonal antibody (C-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AP1AR, also known as Gamma-1-adaptin brefeldin A resistance protein or C4orf16, is a crucial 302 amino acid protein that plays a significant role in transport processes between trans-Golgi network and endosomes, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and protein trafficking. AP1AR regulates membrane association of γ1-Adaptin, a key subunit of c-Fos adapter complex, by interacting through coiled-coil domain with GAE domain of γ1-Adaptin. This interaction facilitates release of c-Fos complex from membranes, thereby influencing various signaling pathways and cellular responses. AP1AR gene is located on human chromosome 4, a region rich in genes and associated with several genetic disorders, including Huntington′s disease and achondroplasia. AP1AR′s role in cellular transport mechanisms underscores potential as a target for research into diseases linked to protein mislocalization and trafficking defects.
