Similarly, Ionomycin serves as a calcium ionophore and raises cytosolic calcium concentration, thereby activating pathways associated with Siglec-H. Forskolin, by raising intracellular cAMP levels, can activate downstream signaling pathways where Siglec-H plays a role. Dibutyryl-cAMP (db-cAMP), a cAMP analog, directly stimulates these cAMP-dependent pathways, leading to the activation of Siglec-H.
