OMP Inhibitors

Anisomycin stimulates MAP kinase pathways, which can lead to the activation of transcription factors and other proteins involved in signaling pathways. Although it primarily acts as a protein synthesis inhibitor, its ability to activate MAPK pathways suggests a potential indirect role in activating OMP through these pathways.

Y-27632 inhibits ROCK (Rho-associated protein kinase), leading to changes in the actin cytoskeleton and cellular functions. By modifying signaling pathways that involve actin dynamics, Y-27632 could indirectly activate OMP through pathways that are sensitive to changes in cellular structure and signaling.
